To our great joy, Alexandre O. Philippe continues his exploration of cinematographic myths. After his study of the shower scene in Psycho (78/52 in 2017), he sets his sights on the mythology surrounding Monument Valley. He has crafted a fascinating documentary that illustrates how cinema has transformed Navajo land into the ultimate symbol of the mythical Wild West, or how films can also be part of colonization.
