Nepal, South Korean-style. Based on a true story, Himalaya tells how a famous, ageing South Korean mountaineer, Um Hong-gil, embarks on an expedition to retrieve the body of Park Moo-taek. The film won an award for Ra Mi-ran's supporting performance at the Buil Film Awards and made over $50 million at the box office in South Korea.
