Lem recalls his life in an orphanage where he and the other children were indoctrinated with communist ideology. But it is also against this brutal and totalitarian backdrop that he meets and bonds with Isak. This period film chronicles a defining era in North Macedonian history when the country was still part of Tito’s communist Yugoslavia.
