Ahmad is a Syrian child who wants to forget that he's Syrian. Traumatised and wanting to escape reality, he seeks refuge in silence and sleep. Filmmaker Soudade Kaadan has made a documentary that manages to show, through the experiences of a young boy, how the collective Syrian memory is being erased. The film won the Final Cut post-production assistance programme in Venice in 2016.
